Zach Braff signs on to star with Gabrielle Union in Cheaper By The Dozen reboot for Disney+

He found fame as the star of medical sitcom Scrubs. 

And on Thursday, it was reported that Zach Braff has signed on to star in a reboot of Cheaper By The Dozen for Disney+.

Braff, 45, will join Gabrielle Union, 48, in the movie that’s being written and produced by Black-ish creator Kenya Barris.

Inspired by the 2003 big screen comedy starring Steve Martin and Bonnie Hunt, Braff and Union will play parents of a multiracial blended family of 12, according to THR.com.

The on screen couple will juggle running their business with raising their kids and the hectic home life sets the scene for a bunch of family friendly laughs.

The project is expected to drop on the Mouse House’s subscription streaming service in 2022.

News of the Cheaper By The Dozen reboot was first announced during the Disney Investor Day presentation in December.

The studio announced a slate of reimagined offerings including the return of Whoopi Goldberg for a third Sister Act movie and a sequel to 2007’s Enchanted with Amy Adams reprising her role as Gisele.

Disney also announced a long-awaited sequel to Hocus Pocus and a new version of Three Men And A Baby, all destined to screen exclusively on Disney+.
