NRL WAG Zoe Marshall reveals the bizarre phobia she suffers from which affects every meal she eats… as she prepares to welcome her second child with husband Benji Marshall

She announced she was expecting her second child with her NRL star husband Benji Marshall three days before Christmas.

And after confirming the happy news, Zoe Marshall revealed the bizarre phobia she suffers from which affects her eating habits during a live Q&A session with fans.

The TV presenter, 35, said she suffers from ’emetophobia’ – which involves an extreme fear of vomiting, seeing vomit, watching other people vomit or feeling sick.

She wrote on Instagram: ‘I have emetophobia, which means I’ve had germ OCD long before covid.

‘I do weird things, like if I don’t have sanitizer and can’t wash my hands, I would eat chips from the packet by pushing them up and eating them straight from the pack.’

She said that sometimes people have found her unusual habit to be humorous, adding: ‘Others have laughed how I put an apple (washed of course) in a zip lock and eat it with the bag covering my hand.’

She signed off by saying: ‘OK, way too much sharing!’

Zoe announced she’s expecting her second child with Benji on Instagram on Tuesday.

She shared a sonogram photo alongside a recording from her podcast in which she described being ‘so sick’ during the first few weeks of her pregnancy.

The happy news comes after Zoe revealed in April that she’d suffered a devastating miscarriage late last year.

She explained that Benji, 35, had asked her not to announce her pregnancy too early because the emotional impact of losing a baby in 2019 had ‘rattled him’.

‘He’s had a lot of anxiety around me sharing prematurely, which I completely understand,’ Zoe said.

‘We had a loss around this time last year. I think the impact of that on me really rattled him. He’s private in general but didn’t want me to share.’

She added in her Instagram caption: ‘Mini Marshall due day before my birthday (god help me another Gemini) June 2021.’

New addition: Zoe announced the happy news on Instagram last week, saying their baby is due in June 2021. She shared this sonogram photo alongside a recording from her podcast in which she described being 'so sick' during the first few weeks of her pregnancy
