Kim Kardashian is spotted wearing a purple pair of Apple’s unannounced Beats Fit Pro

Kim Kardashian was spotted wearing a pair of purple earbuds while running errands in Los Angeles last week that fit the description of Apple’s unannounced Beats Fit Pro.

A source familiar with the matter confirmed to DailyMail.com that the television star was wearing the yet-to-be-announced Beats earbuds.

The upcoming earbuds look like Apple’s previous model, the Beats Studio Buds, which were spotted weeks before their arrival when American basketball player LeBron James wore a red pair during practice in June.

News of the Beats Fit Pro was first revealed by 9to5Mac, which reported the wireless earbuds will debut the week of November 11 and come in purple, gray or black.

Images of the earbuds also appeared in the new iOS 15.1 Release Candidate that launched on Monday – the same day Apple debuted its new AirPods 3.

Apple acquired Beats Electronics in 2014 in a $3 billion deal with the company’s founders Dr Dre and Jimmy Lovine.

Beats Electronics is best known for its ‘Beats by Dr Dre’ line of trendy headphones that compete with other consumer electronics companies, including Skullcandy, Sennheiser Electronic and Bose.

The tech giant has since produced several Beats branded devices, but the rumored innovation will only be its second pair of truly wireless earbuds.

The Beats Fit Pro will pull many features from its predecessor, Beats Studio Buds, like Active Noise Cancellation (ANC), plus Apple’s H1 chip for fast pairing with Apple devices and Hey Siri.

In addition, it will come with a charging case that mirrors the PowerBeats Pro, 9to5Mac reported.

The new earbuds are said to provide six hours of battery life with ANC or Transparency Mode turned on, or seven hours with Adaptive EQ, which adjust sound based on your listening environment and the fit of the earbuds – a feature in AirPods Pro and the new AirPods 3.

Combined with the charging case, users can get 27 to 30 hours of battery life.

The Beats Studio Buds were the first of the company’s products to be truly Android-friendly and this is likely to carry over with the the Beast Fit Pro: quick pairing, battery levels and the Android Beats app includes custom controls.

Pricing details for the earbuds have not yet been revealed, but the Studio Buds cost $150 and the PowerBeats Pro cost $249 – so it may be safe to assume the new earbuds will fall somewhere in the middle.

If Apple releases the Beats Fit Pro earbuds next month, the technology will be the tech giant’s second new pair in less than a month.

During an annual product event on Monday, the tech giant unveiled the third-generation stet of AirPods – AirPods 3.

The new earbuds cost $179, $50 more than the 2nd generation, with pre-orders opening today and shipping starts next week.

The new AirPods are equipped with force sensor, like the AirPods Pro, but the new headphones now include a new low-distortion driver for powerful bass and crisp high frequencies.

They will support spatial audio to ‘create something truly multi-dimensional,’ offering ‘a whole new way to experience music,’ Apple said.

The new design of AirPods is lightweight and contoured to fit the ear, and features a shorter shorter stem than the previous generation.
