Manchester United have pretty much everything in place to land top summer target Raphael Varane this month.
According to multiple reports, Man United are in the process of agreeing on personal terms with the Real Madrid centre-back.
Los Blancos are said to be open to the idea of selling, what with the centre-back clearly stalling on signing a contract extension at the Bernabeu, and Varane is believed to be keen to try his hand at Old Trafford.
All that is left to do is for Man United to make Real Madrid an offer for Varane, who is out of contract in 2022, with reports in France claiming Carlo Ancelotti and co. are braced to receive a bid.
Currently, the two clubs are yet to agree on a price.
Ancelotti will speak to the 28-year-old when he returns from his holiday shortly.
United made Varane their number one target after agreeing on a deal to sign Borussia Dortmund forward Jadon Sancho.
The Red Devils announced during the Euros that they had shaken on a price of £73million with BVB for the England international, who has now completed his medical with the Old Trafford club.

Sancho is expected to be officially announced as a Man United player this week.
Varane should be available for less than his market value due to the fact he is out of contract next season, which will come as a huge boost for United, who splashed out on Sancho.
Real Madrid will not entertain the idea of letting the World Cup winner leave on a free in 2022 and will be keen to at least make some money for him this month, which is again beneficial for the Red Devils.
