Liverpool full-back Andy Robertson may be a doubt for the start of the Premier League season after he was forced off with an injury in Sunday’s friendly against Athletic Bilbao at Anfield.

Robertson seemed to roll over on his ankle as he blocked a cross shortly before the end of the first half, and he had to be helped off the pitch by medics.

He was replaced by young full-back Owen Beck.
