Liverpool’s Mohamed Salah has quite simply been on fire so far this season.

The Egypt international has already scored an incredible 19 goals in as many games across all competitions for the Reds and lit up Goodison Park on Wednesday night.

Salah netted twice in the Merseyside derby against Everton on Wednesday night as Liverpool romped to a 4-1 win.

His first was a beautifully-crafted curling shot across Jordan Pickford into the far corner but his second was all about a predatory instinct.

Salah brilliantly seized on a mistake by Everton captain Seamus Coleman to race away from the halfway line and roll a shot past Jordan Pickford.

And the Reds ace set another record during the game as well.

Despite the performance, though, his boss Jurgen Klopp has said the winger was left “angry” in the changing room after the game.

And his club will also have to plan for his absence next month.

Here are Mirror Football’s latest Liverpool headlines.
