Shakhtar Donetsk star Manor Solomon has confirmed that several Premier League clubs are interested in his services.
Arsenal are one of those to be credited with interested in the 21-year-old and reports claim his agent has held talks with Gunners chief Edu.
Solomon has his heart set on playing in England’s top flight and believes several options are open to him.
Shakhtar have been the breeding ground for several top stars and the forward is confident that finances won’t be an issue.
“There are talks with teams from England,” he told Israeli organisation Sport5 . “There are things that can happen in the summer.
“My dream is to play in England and it also seems to be the most realistic option for me.
“And teams in England can pay.”
Brazilian duo Willian and Fernandinho both made their names at the Ukraine outfit before ending up in the top flight.
Former Manchester United and Arsenal midfielder Henrikh Mkhitaryan also made his name in Donetsk.
Solomon moved to Shakhtar in 2019 for €6m having first burst onto the scene at Maccabi Petah Tikva.
Manchester City had been keen on signing the forward before their interest meant a price increase which led to a breakdown in negotiations.
Solomon told The Guardian: “They really wanted me and I had a meeting with them but unfortunately it did not work out.
“My owner in Israel demanded a lot of money; he wanted €5m for me and then when he heard it was Manchester City, he wanted €10m.”
Solomon would help bolster Arsenal’s attacking options were he to make a move to the Emirates.
The Gunners retained star striker Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang in the summer but his poor goal return may force them into the market.
