rsenal slumped to a 3-0 defeat at the hands of Liverpool as the Reds scored three second-half goals to claim all three points.
Not much he could do about the first goal but the second one wasn’t pretty as Mohamed Salah nutmegged him.
One of many players to put in a sub-par performance. Has been excellent recently but just wasn’t at it against Liverpool.
Won’t be happy with conceding the first goal as Diogo Jota headed home. The Portugal international was able to ghost in behind him.
Was having a decent game, but then got caught out for the second Liverpool goal as he went to ground to try and stop Salah. Gave the ball away for the third goal too.
Forced off just before half-time due to a knee injury, but before that he was looking solid. Dealt well with the threat of Salah.
One of the better players on a disappointing night for Arsenal. Made a few vital interceptions in the first-half and tried to break up play.
Really struggled and couldn’t get into the game. Was sloppy in possession and gave the ball away too much. Was taken off just before the hour mark.
Couldn’t get into the game and barely had a kick. Has waited so long to get a start in the Premier League, but didn’t seize the opportunity.
Just wasn’t in the game and didn’t have a chance to open Liverpool’s defence up. Spent most of the game, like his team-mates, chasing shadows.
Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang 4
Like Pepe on the other flank he just wasn’t in the game. Spent most of his game doing defensive work and tracking back.
Starved of service all night and spent the game chasing Liverpool’s centre-backs.
Started okay when he came on but quickly went downhill.
Mohamed Elneny (Ceballos 57’) 5
His usual busy self, pressing and harrowing Liverpool – but failed to make an impact.
Gabriel Martinelli (Aubameyang 77’) N/A
