Arsenal player ratings: Lacazette, Pepe and Maitland-Niles wow crowd

Simon Collings ran the rule over those on show at Emirates Stadium…

A fairly quiet night for the goalkeeper who, other than Vienna’s goal, had little to do. He will hope to play against Dundalk next week too.

A regular in the Europa League this season and put in a solid performance. Got forward when he could and was not troubled defensively.

Like his partner Pablo Mari he had little to do against a blunt Vienna attack. Came off with 20 minutes to go so Calum Chambers could get some minutes.

A first appearance for the Spaniard since June and he made the most of it. Scored a goal to round off a good performance.

Made some heroic blocks off the line before Vienna scored their goal. His first appearance since testing positive for Covid-19 last month. A decent comeback.

A rare chance for him to play in midfield and he made the most of it. Made an impact in both boxes and set up Arsenal’s fourth goal. A good night’s work.

Neat and tidy from the Egyptian. Has been ever reliable this season and was so again tonight. Completed an hour before coming off.

The youngster is loving the Europa League this season and he was impressive once again. Lots of mazy runs and bagged two assists as well.

Alexandre Lacazette | Star Man 8

The Frenchman’s best performance of the season. Scored a brilliant long-range effort and linked play well. Could he start against Tottenham on Sunday now?

Another good night for the Ivorian, who is bouncing back from his red card against Leeds United. Was at the heart of Arsenal’s best attacks.

As he always seems to do, the youngster got his goal. It was a classic poacher’s finish too as he knocked home the rebound from his first effort.

Emile Smith Rowe (Lacazette 63’) 7

Has been pushing for more minutes all season and he showed why by coming off the bench and scoring Arsenal’s fourth.

Dani Ceballos (Elneny 62’) 7

Not much for the Spaniard to do as he came on with the game won. A few nice touches nonetheless and some skill to get the fans off their seats.

Got 30 minutes to get him ready for Sunday’s north London derby. Few nice dribbles and moments of skill.

Calum Chambers (Mustafi 69’) 6

Given a huge cheer by the fans as he made his first appearance of 2020. A nice game to ease him back into action.

Folarin Balogun (Nketiah 81) 6

Barely had anytime to make an impact and will perhaps be gutted he did not get longer to shine.

Subs not used: Leno, Tierney, Saka, Holding, Willock, Macey, Azeez
