Arsenal are expected to have a busy January transfer window after making a sloppy start to the Premier League season.
They were second-best against Tottenham and were punished by two counter-attacking goals.
Despite improving their defence during the summer window, they’ve still been shipping goals and are expected to focus on their attack in January.
Here’s the latest Arsenal transfer rumours…
Gunners make John Stones enquiry
Arsenal have asked Manchester City to keep them in the loop over John Stones’ future, according to 90min.com.
Stones has been linked to Arsenal on numerous occasions, dating back to when Unai Emery was in charge.
Arteta has made numerous centre-back additions since taking over from Emery, including the likes of Pablo Mari, Cedric Soares and Gabriel Magalhaes.
But according to reports, Arsenal have told City that they want to be kept updated on Stones’ availability ahead of a potential move in January.
Aouar available in January
Houssem Aouar has told Lyon he wants to leave before the end of the season, according to reports.
The young playmaker was Arsenal’s top target in the summer transfer window, but the Gunners failed to agree a fee.
They were told to fork out a fee in the region of £55million for the youngster, and ultimately they decided to look elsewhere.
Now, however, they could be in luck as reports state he is eager to leave the club before the end of the season.
Real Madrid could snatch transfer target
Real Madrid have reportedly made contact with RB Salzburg star Dominik Szoboszlai.
The Hungary international is believed to be Arsenal’s top target of the January transfer window, as the Austrian side will reportedly sell him for £18m.
Madrid manager Zinedine Zidane is said to have called Szoboszlai to urge him to sign for Los Blancos over Arsenal in a major blow to the Gunners’ chances.
Szoboszlai was reportedly seen as a cheaper alternative to Aouar.
