The Frenchman was signed for just under £50m in 2017, but has struggled to recapture the kind of form that made him so prolific at former side Lyon.
In four seasons with the Gunners, Lacazette has never once reached 20 goals in a single campaign, hardly the form of a star striker and as a result is rumoured to be edging ever closer to the Emirates exit.
According to the Transfer Window Podcast, Arsenal are actively trying to get Lacazette off their books, with the Gunners hierarchy reportedly offering the forward to a number of clubs across the continent.
However, he still has some fans in North London, with newest recruit Nuno Tavares praising the Frenchman alongside his strike partner Pierre Emerick-Aubameyang.
Tavares, signed from Benfica just over a week ago, made his Gunners debut during the pre-season friendly against Scottish outfit Rangers and even bagged himself a goal in the process.
Following the full-time whistle, Tavares was quick to single out two players in particular when asked what it is like playing with his new teammates.
“It’s good to play with the best, like Aubameyang and Laca. They’re very good players and to play with them, it’s so good.”
Tavares was recruited to deputise for first-choice left back Kieran Tierney, but has done his chances of fist-team football no harm with a debut goal.
Responding to the 21-year-old’s performance and strike, manager Mikel Arteta said: “A great debut with his right foot as well!

“He’s only been with us a few days but you can already see his qualities, his physicality and then the quality on the ball that he has.
“He’s integrating with the lads really well, so it’s a good start.”
Arteta’s sentiments were echoed by Tavares himself, who told Arsenal’s official YouTube channel: “I felt good, it was a good game for me and for us. A good test. I think we did a good match and we learn more.”
