That’s according to Sport, who claim Dembele already has plenty of offers from interested suitors.
Dembele’s contract expires next summer and Barca are said to be willing to freeze his current salary and make him the club’s highest paid player through bonuses.
El Nacional recently credited the Reds with an interest in the French international.
It is highly unlikely a move will be made in January for the winger, but it is certainly worth keeping an eye on his future come the end of the season.

Liverpool are among the clubs said to be interested in a move for Napoli midfielder Fabian Ruiz.
The Reds have coped well with the loss of Georginio Wijnaldum, who left for PSG this summer after being a mainstay in Jurgen Klopp’s side.
But 25-year-old Ruiz could add more depth to the midfield options at Anfield.

January signing tipped
Gabby Agbonlahor suspects Jurgen Klopp has a transfer plan up his sleeve to cope with the temporary absence of Mohamed Salah and Sadio Mane.
The former Aston Villa striker believes their exit to AFCON could prove terminal for Liverpool’s title hopes, but also thinks Klopp already has a signing ‘lined-up’ to mitigate their loss.
“I think that’s going to cost Liverpool the title [Mane and Salah leaving],” he told talkSPORT. “Losing them players for the amount of games they are away for.”
He added: “So they’ve got problems there Liverpool and Jurgen Klopp might have someone lined-up already.”
