Callum Hudson-Odoi marked his Nottingham Forest debut with a splendid goal – and it led to a collective sigh from Chelsea fans.
The England international joined Forest on deadline day, bringing an end to stay at Stamford Bridge that initially promised so much.
And on his first appearance for his new club, Hudson-Odoi scored a delightful curling shot from the left to level the scores against Burnley after Zeki Amdouni broke the deadlock.
Forest’s delight at Hudson-Odoi is Chelsea’s pain as Blues fans were left wondering how it all went wrong for him in west London.
“We should buy that Hudson-Odoi,” one Chelsea fan joked.
“What a goal Hudson Odoi. Why couldn’t you do that in a Chelsea shirt?!” another added.
“So Hudson Odoi has scored before Mudryk. Who cursed us?” this fan said.
“Hudson ODOI is better than Mykhailo Mudryk [fire emojis]. What a goal, mannn!” another said.
“Hudson Odoi just scored a goal on debut for Nottingham Forest and we sold him for 5M. Top business, Chelsea board!” this fan added.
