Statement wins over Leeds and Leicester City have the Gunners looking up the table and another three points on Saturday could see them move above rivals Tottenham ahead of next week’s north London.

Burnley are licking their wounds after a humbling by Spurs, helping in part by the midweek 1-1 draw with the Foxes, though will take heart from their win at the Emirates Stadium in December, their only triumph in a Premier League meeting to date.

Bukayo Saka and Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang were rested against Leicester so will come in.

Kieran Tierney might be given a rest, with Cedric Soares deputising, ahead of the Europa League last-16 stage.

Burnley will assess Jack Cork, Johann Berg Gudmundsson and Robbie Brady ahead of kick-off. Ashley Barnes remains out.

Burnley were all over the shop against Tottenham, something Sean Dyche will no doubt address for the weekend.

Arsenal are growing in confidence, however, and should be able to see this one through after a longer rest period.
