Burnley and Tottenham were supposed to face off in the Premier League at 2pm this Sunday, but the match has been called off due to the poor conditions following a pitch inspection
Burnley’s Premier League clash with Tottenham has been postponed after Storm Arwen covered Turf Moor in a layer of snow.

Burnley later tweeted: “Due to concerns with the playing surface and surrounding areas, it’s been deemed that the game can’t go ahead safely.”
Burnley boss Sean Dyche had been pictured inspecting the pitch with the referees this Sunday morning.

Antonio Conte was anticipating a difficult game against Burnley this Sunday.
Ahead of the match, the Italian said: “For us, it’s an important game – like this [against Mura] – because [Thursday] was an important game.
“Now we have two days to recover and to prepare for the game against Burnley and for sure we have to give more in all aspects – tactical aspects, physical aspects and also mentally. We need to give more.
“I know very well what kind of game we expect against Burnley. Burnley is a tough game, they play with intensity, they put pressure on, they play a lot of long balls and they are very good in set-pieces, so we have to pay great attention.
“But in this moment, we all have to think that we have to give more.”
