Champions League LIVE! Real v Atalanta, City v Gladbach, Chelsea news

Champions League football returns with two places in the quarter-finals up for grabs tonight.

Real Madrid host Atalanta boasting a 1-0 away win from the first leg, leaving Zinedine Zidane’s Los Blancos heavy favourites to reach the last eight of the competition.

Pep Guardiola’s City saw their 21-game winning streak go up in smoke with a Manchester derby defeat to United on March 7, but have followed that up with convincing wins over Southampton and Fulham to re-establish their status as huge Premier League title favourites.

Wednesday night offers two more last-16 ties: holders Bayern Munich are on the verge of going through given they hold a 4-1 lead over Lazio, while Chelsea welcome Atletico Madrid to Stamford Bridge with the Blues 1-0 up following a first-leg away win.

We will keep you up to date with all the latest goals and action tonight as well as team news and build-up for tomorrow’s night actions on our LIVE blog.
