Chelsea 0-0 Tottenham: London derby action as it happened – LIVE!

Tottenham climbed back to the top of the Premier League table by grinding out a turgid goalless draw at Chelsea.

Jose Mourinho’s men created no genuine chances but the wily Portuguese boss will hardly care about any lack of excitement on a relatively profitable Stamford Bridge return.

Spurs sat deep in two stodgy wedges, with Mourinho positively goading his former Chelsea player Frank Lampard to unpick the visitors’ defensive lock.

Try as they might however, the Blues could not convert what chances they were able to create.

Hakim Ziyech was left with the most to rue, having blazed over from the penalty spot with time to pick his finish after Ben Chilwell’s inviting cross.

Timo Werner had the ball in the net just 11 minutes in, only for the offside flag to deny the deadly Chelsea striker.

And so Chelsea missed their own chance to top the table, having to settle instead for extending their unbeaten streak to 14 matches in all competitions.

FULL-TIME | Chelsea 0-0 Tottenham |

Nothing ventured, nothing gained. Spurs are back to the top of the table.

90+4 mins: Massive let off at the other end! Zouma gifts possession away and Spurs have numbers but Lo Celso dallies and then chips a strange attempt at neither a pass nor finish wide and out of play.

Joe Rodon makes a real hash of a back pass and Olivier Giroud pounces but rushes his finish, which he tries to lift over Lloris but doesn’t get enough on.

90 mins: There’ll be four added minutes…

89 mins: This tells you all you need to know. Ben Davies is on for Steven Bergwijn.

85 mins: Last roll of the dice from Frank Lampard as he sends Kai Havertz on in place of Hakim Ziyech. It’s Chelsea who are pushing.

81 mins: That’s about as close as we’ve come. Mason Mount drives through midfield and lets fly with a cracking low strike which is down in the bottom corner. Lloris does well to get across and push it behind.

80 mins: Here is the change then. Olivier Giroud is on for Tammy Abraham.

74 mins: Ouch. This could be a real problem for Chelsea. Ben Chilwell runs across his man and turns the outside of his ankle very awkwardly as he changes direction. Fingers crossed that’s just a twist and nothing serious. He’s going to try to run it off.

73 mins: Interesting. Timo Werner is the man to make way. I wondered if he might go through the middle with Abraham sacrificed.
