Chelsea are on the verge of the Uefa Champions League semi-finals as they face Porto in the second leg of their quarter-final tie tonight.
Goals from Mason Mount and Ben Chilwell sealed a 2-0 first-leg away win for Chelsea, putting Thomas Tuchel’s Blues in firm control of the contest.
Due to Covid-19 restrictions between Spain and England, both ties are being held at the Estadio Ramon Sanchez Pizjuan in Seville – though Chelsea’s aim this time around will be to protect those two away goals.
Tuchel has been tasked with winning silverware immediately at Chelsea, with Frank Lampard’s brutal sacking a reminder that Roman Abramovich will not settle for anything less.
After finishing as a runner-up with PSG last season, the German coach will be hoping to go one better this year with the Blues on the cusp of the last four.
