The Stamford Bridge outfit have been widely tipped to move for Borussia Dortmund’s Erling Haaland and Sevilla’s Jules Kounde as coach Thomas Tuchel looks to add to his squad
David Moyes’ West Ham United side made painfully clear Thomas Tuchel’s need for reinforcements once the January transfer window opens.
The Blues were toppled from the Premier League’s top spot by Arthur Masuaku’s late, lucky winner at the London Stadium on Saturday as the Blues fell to a 3-2 defeat.
The loss came as the Blues continue to be linked with a number of targets ahead of the transfer window opening next month.
Thomas Tuchel’s side have been widely linked with a move for Dortmund’s Erling Haaland and Sevilla’s Jules Kounde – and they may have just had a boost in their pursuit of both players.
Elsewhere Sky Sports pundit Paul Merson has said what he expects Antonio Rudiger to do, with the defender’s contract at Stamford Bridge up at the end of the season.
Here are all the latest Chelsea transfer rumours.

Rudiger ‘definitely leaving’
Antonio Rudiger is ‘definitely leaving’ Chelsea, according to Sky Sports pundit Paul Merson.
Not only that, but Chelsea are going to have to shell out millions in order to replace the German defender.
Merson wrote in his Daily Star column: “Chelsea are going to miss Antonio Rudiger when he goes because it will take £60-70m to replace him.
“Rudiger is definitely leaving. If he wanted to sign a new contract he would have done it by now. There’s no chance he stays now.”
Kounde gives transfer ‘hint’
Jules Kounde has dropped a massive hint that he ould be moving to Stamford Bridge, it has been reported.
Chelsea were widely tipped to move for the Sevilla centre back last summer but the deal never materialised.
With Antonio Rudiger and Andreas Christensen’s futures very much up in the air, a need for a long-term centre-back is now more evident than ever before.
Following a post on Kounde’s Instagram account that was captioned ‘Random’, Chalobah was quick to respond with an emoji, which nowadays represents the term ‘cold’, slang for better than cool.
Kounde then replied as well and with no history of the pair playing together tying them to a relationship, the conversation is bound to excite Chelsea fans.
Haaland can leave Dortmund
Chelsea and a host of clubs chasing the signature of Dortmund forward Erling Haaland have been told the player can move – under “certain conditions”.
The forward is rumoured to have a release clause written into his current contract which would allow him to move on next summer should clubs pay a fee of around £75m.
And Borussia Dortmund chief Michael Zorc has confirmed there are “certain conditions” which would see the move happen while he was speaking to German outlet Sport1.
He said: “The fact is that he has a contract. But it’s also a fact, and this is no secret, that he can leave the club under certain conditions.”
