Chelsea transfer news as Dortmund find Haaland replacement after exit confirmed

Chelsea boss Thomas Tuchel has not been able to tap into the club’s vast wealth and has yet to sign anyone despite winning the Champions League in May.

The German is keen on bringing in a striker and a wing-back with Erling Haaland and Achraf Hakimi on his wish list.

However, the latter appears set to sign for Paris Saint-Germain while Borussia Dortmund do not want to sell their main man up front.

Roman Abramovich could be a huge factor, though, who could bankroll another summer of spending at Stamford Bridge.

Here are the latest Chelsea transfer rumours and gossip.

Dortmund eye Haaland replacement

Borussia Dortmund striker Erling Haaland has courted attention from Europe’s biggest clubs

PSV Eindhoven star Donyell Malen is being lined up as a potential Haaland replacement this summer.

It comes amid the departure of Jadon Sancho, who has agreed a deal to join Manchester United, while the Norway international could also be on the way out.

Interest is high in the former RB Salzburg star, with Real Madrid, Barcelona and Manchester City keeping an eye on the 20-year-old.

But Chelsea are desperate to bring in the striker and Dortmund are realising that keeping Haaland will be almost impossible over this year or next.

According to transfer guru Fabirizo Romano, Malen has been identified as a summer target, potentially paving the way for Haaland’s exit.

Moses exit

Victor Moses has left Chelsea on a permanent basis

Victor Moses has finally departed Chelsea on a permanent basis after nine years at the club.

He joins Spartak Moscow after making 20 appearances for them last year on loan, his sixth team away from the Blues on a temporary basis.

Moses was one of the first signings the Blues made following their Champions League victory in 2012 but only truly became a key man under Antonio Conte.

With the Italian in charge, the Nigeria international was utilised as a wing-back to great success as the west London club won the Premier League in 2017.

He would reunite with Conte at Inter Milan on loan in January 2020 but his sale to Spartak Moscow will help the Blues bolster their funds this summer.
