Chelsea are preparing for a busy December full of fixtures but January promises to be as hectic too.
With the transfer window set to open, the Blues are on the right track under Frank Lampard.
They will not want to change too much but there could be more outgoings than incomings.
Olivier Giroud has been linked with a transfer away as he looks for more first-team football.
But his recent performances have earned him a spot back in Lampard’s team while the English coach is keen to see some others leave Stamford Bridge.
Here are the latest Chelsea transfer rumours.
Giroud agent on Inter Milan
Giroud has been heavily linked with a move to Inter Milan with Antonio Conte a huge fan.
The Italian has been hellbent on landing the Frenchman and tried to sign him last season.
In the end, Chelsea extended his contract by triggering a clause in his deal.
But with Giroud’s time at the Blues in doubt, his agent has broken his silence on his future.
Michael Manuello when asked about a move to Inter told Inside Futbol: “[There has been] no contact for the moment.
“For the moment he plays with Chelsea and he is doing very well.”
Chelsea struggles with five
Chelsea chief Marina Granovskaia will have her work cut out for her in January.
She has been tasked with offloading five players in January as they look to bring in more funds.
Declan Rice remains a top target at Stamford Bridge but they will need some extra cash to do so.
Kepa Arrizabalaga remains the toughest, with a lack of suitors for the goalkeeper the Blues forked £72m out on just two years ago.
