The Blues boss lost forwards Timo Werner and Romelu Lukaku to injury during last week’s Champions League win over Malmo and will no doubt be keen to avoid any further absentees as his men continue to chase trophies on multiple fronts.
Kepa Arrizabalaga will play in goal, while Saul Niguez and Marcos Alonso also feature alongside Ross Barkley in what is, naturally, a departure from the usual starting XI.
Ben Chilwell continued his fine goalscoring run in that game and is likely to be rested having seemingly regained his place in the first XI from Marcos Alonso.
However, the absences of Lukaku and has seen Kai Havertz pressed into service up front once more.
Chelsea starting XI: Kepa, James, Chalobah, Sarr, Hudson-Odoi, Barkley, Kovavic, Saul, Alonso, Ziyech, Havertz
Subs: Bettinelli, Sharman-Lowe, Chilwell, Rudiger, Thiago Silva, Jorginho, Mount, Vale
