allum Hudson-Odoi is on the bench for Chelsea against West Ham along with Kai Havertz, while Hakim Ziyech misses out.
Ziyech has enjoyed a blistering start to his Chelsea career, but Frank Lampard remains without the former Ajax man to take on the Hammers with Chelsea having lost their last two.
Havertz i drops to the bench after a string of disappointing displays. Lampard defended the player when speaking to the media.
“He had no pre-season, then got Covid and all eyes are on because of the price tag but we need huge perspective here,” the Chelsea boss said.
“Not saying it will take a long, long time but he does need time to settle in. For Chelsea fans and us, we must give him time.
Lampard will, for the first time this season, be able to name nine substitutes on his bench for the game after Premier League clubs voted the change through, though a maximum of three changes during the game remains.
