Conor McGregor will take on Dustin Poirier for the third time this summer.
The pair have each won one of their previous meetings, with the Irishman dominating their first bout at UFC 178 and picking up an early first-round TKO.
But Poirier ended up back in the octagon with McGregor in January of this year at UFC 257 in Abu Dhabi, avenging his defeat with a second-round stoppage.
And now they meet once more, with a shot at Charles Oliveira’s lightweight world title up for grabs for the winner.
Both men fought the undefeated former champion Khabib Nurmagomedov, and seemed like unlikely candidates for a rematch given his dominance in both bouts.
But when he announced his retirement at the end of last year, it opened the door for Oliveira to face Michael Chandler for the belt last month, which he won with a second round TKO.
And now McGregor and Poirier are being touted as the next contenders to his title, with the American ranked No.1 in the division and the Irishman at No.5.
Here’s all you need to know about the big fight…
When is McGregor vs Poirier?
UFC 264: McGregor vs Poirier 3 takes place at the T-Mobile Arena in Las Vegas on July 10.
The pair first met at the nearby MGM Grand Garden Arena at UFC 178, with one key difference being that the bout took place at featherweight, 10 lbs lighter than their rematch and trilogy fights.
And they squared off again at the Etihad Arena on ‘Fight Island’ in Abu Dhabi on January 23 this year, fighting at a particularly early time on the Sunday morning due to US TV broadcast timings.
What time will it start in the UK?
The event is expected to start at 11pm on July 10 in the UK for early prelims, with the main card beginning at 3am.
There are four fights on the pay-per-view card before the main event, so expect ring walks at earliest 5am, more likely closer to 6am.
UFC 264 regular prelims begin at 1am UK time.]

“All the marbles are on the line.
“I’m here training very, very hard; I’m about to go for my second session of the day, I’m in great condition already.
“I beat him in the original bout, but I lost in the rematch and now we’ve got trilogy, I’ve got a few little adjustments to make.
“I feel very, very confident. I’m very focused and driven, and I’ll go in there and put on one hell of a performance and get it back on July 10”
“I’m working on still landing my offence with my low kicks, but now I’m working on defending a lot more than I used to.
“Just like in that [first] fight, if he would have started checking those kicks, or if I would have been getting taken down because I was chasing that leg kick, then I would have gone with something else.”
