Conor McGregor’s alleged assault victim has said that he “would turn down €10million” to drop his case against the UFC star.

Italian DJ Francesco Facchinetti has now officially filed a complaint over the assault he alleges took place last weekend.

The Italian posted proof of his complaint on social media which he filed with the national police on Tuesday.

According to Facchinetti, he and McGregor, along with his wife, spent over two hours together before the alleged incident took place.

He has even claimed that they exchanged phone numbers during their time together.

Mr. Fachinetti alleges that after hours together, McGregor proceeded to punch him in the face causing him to suffer a broken nose and split lip.

As a result the Italian called the police to the palatial five-star St. Regis Hotel, and has since recalled his account of the alleged incident.

Mr. Facchinetti claimed: “I could have shut up and not said anything to anyone, but since I’m here to tell it…

“If McGregor’s lawyer were to call me tomorrow and offer me €10m to withdraw the complaint and to withdraw everything, I would say no.”

The Daily Mirror has contacted McGregor’s representatives and the Rome police for comment.

“I just wanted to make it clear that I am – or actually I was at this point – a great fan of McGregor,” he said on his YouTube channel.

“So when I was told I could go and see him I thought it would be nice to be there with him and for two-and-a-half hours it seemed like I was in a movie.

“Being able to talk to McGregor… My Brazilian wife spoke to him, they spoke about Brazil, we spoke about Jose Aldo.

“And he told us he had to fight in Brazil but then he lost against Khabib [Nurmagomedov] and no longer went there.

“He told us many cool things, it was nice, we spoke about Rome, the Colosseum… I told him he should go to Paestum, Pompeii, then he told me he would go and get his Lamborghini boat. It was a nice chat.”

McGregor took a flight with his fiancee Dee Devlin and three children from Miami to Rome as part of a holiday to christen his son Rian.

He has been caught several times in the public eye including being mobbed by fans while shopping, and was also pictured with Roma manager Jose Mourinho in the capital city, as well as Johnny Depp.

The trip was also taken to collect his brand new £2.6 million custom-made Lamborghini yacht which pays tribute to his Proper Twelve whiskey brand.

The alleged incident has drawn the ire of many fellow fighters, with Michael Bisping and Jake Paul both coming out against McGregor after hearing of the allegation.

The Irishman is yet to comment on the allegations which have been described in detail by his alleged victim.
