Declan Rice spoke to Harry Maguire and Luke Shaw about Manchester United whilst on international duty ahead of a possible move.
The West Ham midfielder has been linked with a switch to Old Trafford this summer.
And while he was with England he sought out his two England colleagues to discuss the club as he weighs up his options.
United pair Marcus Rashford and Dean Henderson were also in the squad but Rice specifically spoke to Maguire and Shaw, reports the MEN.
The Hammers midfielder has been integral to their efforts this term as they chase the top four.
David Moyes has made the 22-year-old a pillar of his Hammers starting XI and he continues to go from strength to strength.
United are again expected to invest this summer and a strong defensive midfielder is an area where they can bolster.
The Red Devils could also use Jesse Lingard in negotiations with the Hammers keen to keep hold of the on loan star.
Lingard is poised to return to Old Trafford in the summer but could be used as a bargaining chip.
Moyes has conceded that the east London outfit will consider bids for their top stars, but it will take huge sums to convince them to sell.
He said: “Yes, any club can make offers for players but we’ve not had any big offers.
“I hope we don’t get any but if we do, like any other club, we would consider them.
“I don’t know where the Bank of England is for Tomas Soucek but I’ve said with Declan, it would take the Bank of England and the Royal Bank of Scotland to get him.
“It will have to be the Bank of Czech as well for Tomas!”
