Dundalk vs Arsenal: Europa League – LIVE!

Arsenal are looking to make it a perfect six wins from six in the Europa League tonight as they face Dundalk.

The Gunners have made light work of Group B, winning all five of their games to qualify for the last-32 as group winners, while Irish side Dundalk are yet to pick up a point and are guaranteed to finish bottom.

However, Arsenal’s European form is in stark contrast with their domestic fortunes, with Sunday’s north London derby defeat to Tottenham making it just one win in their last seven Premier League games.

That has seen the pressure mount on Mikel Arteta and with the Gunners languishing in 15th place, it already looks as if the Europa League may represent his side’s best chance of qualifying for the Champions League next season.

Head to head: The only previous meeting between these two sides was the reverse fixture at the Emirates Stadium earlier in the group stage, which Arsenal won 3-0.

Dundalk vs Arsenal prediction: 1-3 away win

Arsenal have played with a swagger and confidence in Europe that has been missing from their league displays, and that is unlikely to change against on paper the poorest team in the group.

Arsenal team news and predicted lineup

Mikel Arteta is set to make plenty of changes as Arsenal conclude their Europa League group-stage campaign at Dundalk tonight.

With the Gunners already through as group winners, Arteta is likely to blood some young talent with a host of first-team regulars in line for a rest.

Thomas Partey (thigh) is missing, while the likes of Alex Runarsson, Calum Chambers and Eddie Nketiah will be hopeful of starting the game.

While Arteta will be rotating his squad with one eye on the Premier League, this is a real chance for some of the squad players to impress and push for more regular game time given the first-team’s struggles – particularly in attack.

Predicted lineup (4-2-3-1): Runarsson; Cedric, Chambers, Mari, Kolasinac; Elneny, Maitland-Niles; Pepe, Willock, Nelson; Nketiah.
