Carlo Ancelotti is ready to make a move next month for either of unsettled Spurs stars Dele Alli and Harry Winks.
Everton manager Carlo Ancelotti is an admirer of both England players, whose futures under Jose Mourinho have become uncertain.
Dele has often been frozen out of Tottenham ’s Premier League squads, while sparingly-used Winks is anxious to know whether he features long term.
Now Everton are ready to see if they can bring one of the 24-year-olds to Merseyside on loan once the January transfer window opens.
Dele and Winks are worried that a lack of first team action could harm their prospects of playing for England in next summer’s European Championship finals.
French billionaires Paris Saint-Germain are ready to make a fourth attempt to take Dele to France after having three bids knocked back to take him on loan during the last transfer window.
But the prospect of staying in the Premier League with Everton could prove tempting.
Winks is also believed to be open to a temporary move away from north London, and the chance of working under Ancelotti could suit his international ambitions.
Mourinho claimed after his side’s Europa League win on Thursday night that it was not possible to give all of his player’s the game time they want.
“I can’t keep the squad happy,” he told BT Sport. “I believe they are happy because we are winning but they’re not happy because they’re not playing.
“Every player that left the pitch I told them to go to the shower because it was cold. Some decided to go and some decided to stay.
“It’s an impossible job to keep every player happy and if you go to every club people who don’t play aren’t happy.”
