FA Cup Final: Match in pictures as Leicester beat Chelsea

The 20 fixtures of the FA Cup second round have been unveiled.

Salford City became the latest team to progress with a 1-0 victory at Dagenham and Redbridge on Monday night and joined 27 other teams to have reached the next stage over the weekend.

The eye-catching result of the first round came at Clarence Park, where National League South side St Albans City defeated League Two-leaders Forest Green Rovers.

Northern Premier League Premier Division club Buxton also overcame recent managerial upheaval to beat York City of the National League North.

Five other non-league clubs also kept their FA Cup dream alive by reaching the second round alongside 20 teams from the EFL, while 24 teams will contest replays as they vie for the remaining spots.

Those who have made it this far earned just over £22,000 by advancing from the first round, while those fortunate enough to have been picked for television broadcast will have scooped more.

Winners of the second-round ties will earn £34,000 and could be set for a welcome windfall if they are drawn against a Premier League club in the third round.

Holders Leicester City and other top-flight heavyweights will enter the competition at this stage with fixtures taking place in early January, just over one month after the second-round games.
