Fantasy Premier League tips for GW34

he Premier League season is almost over, which means you haven’t got long left to make up those valuable FPL points.

With a tight Fantasy Premier League deadline of 6:30pm BST tonight due to yet another Friday evening match, here are some of the players, transfers, captains and differentials you should be considering…

Marcos Alonso | Chelsea | £5.7m

The Spaniard was brought back in from the cold by Thomas Tuchel but is now playing second fiddle to Ben Chilwell. However, the England left-back played against both West Ham and Real Madrid, and with the Champions Leaue semi-fina second leg next week, so Alonso is a near certainty to come in for this London derby with a decent prospect of a clean sheet and an attacking return.

Allan Saint-Maximin | Newcastle | £5.1m

Under usual circumstances, you may not opt for a Newcastle midfielder against Arsenal – but these are unusual times. The Magpies are in fine form, taking eight points from their last four games against Spurs, Burnley, West Ham and Liverpool.

Arsenal are in poor form and have a must-win Europa League semi-final second leg against VIllarreal to worry about next week, so the Gunners are likely there for the taking if they rest key players at St James’ Park – and Saint-Maximin has the talent to trouble a dodgy Arsenal defence.

Bruno Fernandes | Man Utd | £11.5m

Plenty of managers will be considering selling the Manchester United star given his price, a barren run in front of goal and a tough fixture against Liverpool on Sunday.

However, the Portuguese scored twice and assisted two more goals in the 6-2 rout of AS Roma on Thursday night, and Fernandes already has one goal against Liverpool at Old Trafford this season in the 3-2 FA Cup victory.

Matheus Pereira | West Brom | £5.5m

The Baggies may have left it too late to avoid relegation, but Pereira is giving them a fighting chance. THe West Brom star is in sensational form with 42 points in his last four gameweeks, and faces a Wolves side who just lost 4-0 at home to Burnley. Not necessarily a differential pick, but a cheap option even if he blanks.

Harry Kane | Tottenham | £11.8m

Picking the Premier League’s top goalscorer isn’t exactly a wild FPL tip, but Tottenham will be hurting after their Carabao Cup Final loss and have a home tie against Sheffield United this weekend – exactly the sort of game in which Spurs (and Kane) could take out the frustrations of a poor season with a few goals.

Kelechi Iheanacho | Leicester | £6.2m

You simply cannot ignore Iheanacho in this form and at this price. The Foxes striker has attacking returns in his last three League games – and five of his last seven in the top flight. He starred against Southampton in the FA Cup semi-finals and faces the Saints again this weekend – can you afford not to have him?
