Fernandes’ reaction to Rashford’s late winner spotted by eagle-eyed Man Utd fans

Bruno Fernandes’ reaction to Marcus Rashford’s winner for Manchester United was picked up by eagle-eyed fans on social media.

It follows the Red Devils going second in the Premier League after a late victory over Wolves on Tuesday night.

United have propelled themselves into the conversation over who can challenge Liverpool for the title this year.

The win over Wolves takes them to within two points of Jurgen Klopp’s men.

And it marks a brilliant response to their defeat to Arsenal on November 1, where they have dropped points just twice since in the Premier League – draws against Leicester and Manchester City.

One of the main reasons for their upturn in form is Fernandes and his unrelenting ability to shine week in week out.

Marcus Rashford scored a late winner against Wolves for United

United fans have fallen in love with the Portugal international and it is easy to see why.

As well as contributing goals and assists on a weekly basis, his passion for the club is easy to see.

And it was on show yet again when Rashford scored vs Wolves, with fans noticing the 26-year-old losing his mind in celebration.

Fernandes initially pinged the ball over to the England international with seconds left to spare.

After looking to find some space in the box, the 23-year-old took a shot that heavily deflected off Romain Saiss and dropping into the Wolves net.

As Rashford and Paul Pogba wheeled away in jubilation, Fernandes was spotted jumping around wildly before latching onto Luke Shaw in sheer joy.

And fans are over the moon with the former Sporting Lisbon star, with one saying: “Love this guy best signing since CR7.”

Another wrote: “He lives for success, if he doesent get it he gets angry and pushes harder. And therefore he also gets extra happy when united win. Lovely hard working player.”

“What a player he is . The difference he has made to this team is phenomenal,” a third tweeted.

But despite the late victory, Rashford has told fans to keep their feet on the ground as talk of a potential title race emerges.

“We can’t look too far ahead,” Rashford told Amazon Prime.

“We are a team that is still doing a lot of work on ourselves and to be looking at the table so early on in the season is a bit stupid of us.

“We have to take it one game at a time and if we can keep finding ways to win like this we will see where we are at the end of the season.”
