How Arsenal are predicted to line-up against West Brom

They now have four Premier League games to go, with little to play for, but Arteta will be wary about letting the team slide further. Fans are already frustrated by performances and more defeats would only ramp up pressure on Arteta.

As a result, the Spaniard is likely to name a strong team for Sunday’s clash with West Brom. Mat Ryan could start in goal, though, and Calum Chambers should return to the defence at right-back.

Granit Xhaka is a doubt after pulling out just before kick-off on Thursday with muscle tightness, but Arteta will hope he is fit.

Gabriel Martinelli deserves to start too after a lively cameo performance off the bench against Villarreal.

Arsenal likely XI: Ryan; Chambers, Holding, Mari, Tierney; Partey, Xhaka; Saka, Smith Rowe, Martinelli; Aubameyang.

Sunday 7.00pm GMT, BT Sport

Arsenal squad from: Leno, Runarsson, Ryan; Bellerin, Cedric, Chambers, Gabriel, Holding, Luiz, Mari, Tierney; Ceballos, Elneny, Odegaard, Partey, Saka, Smith Rowe, Xhaka; Aubameyang, Balogun, Lacazette, Martinelli, Nelson, Nketiah, Pepe and Willian.

Doubts: Luiz (hamstring), Xhaka (muscle tightness)
