How Liverpool could line-up against RB Leipzig

Jurgen Klopp saw Fabinho add to his fitness worries, taking the club’s list of absentees into double figures.

Naby Keita has a faint chance of making the matchday squad, but Klopp is unlikely to rush a player back who has struggled with injuries throughout his time on Merseyside.

That means Ozan Kabak should partner Jordan Henderson at centre-back again while Thiago Alcantara and James Milner will swap places between the bench and midfield.

Liverpool’s front free of Mohamed Salah, Sadio Mane and Roberto Firmino are fit though not exactly all firing, with Xherdan Shaqiri and Alex Oxlade-Chamberlain options from the bench.

Alisson Becker is in no danger of losing his place despite a serious of blunders in recent weeks.

Predicted Liverpool XI (4-3-3): Alisson; Alexander-Arnold, Kabak, Henderson, Robertson; Thiago, Wijnaldum, Jones; Salah, Firmino, Mane
