How to watch every Six Nations match live on TV and online for FREE

T

he Six Nations takes centre stage once again in the rugby world, with an epic competition in store for 2022.

With a sensational autumn victory over New Zealand behind them, Antoine Dupont and France are the clear favourites to end a 12-year wait for glory in March.

2020 champions England finished a dismal fifth in the standings last year and will surely present a big improvement after downing the likes of Australia and South Africa in November, though their preparation has been littered by issues – not least the loss of captain Owen Farrell for the whole Six Nations due to a freak ankle injury.

A slew of injuries seems likely to prevent Wales from competing successfully to defend their crown, though impressive Ireland have won all of their previous eight Test matches – including a dominant autumn campaign in which they too dispatched the All Blacks.

Finn Russell-led Scotland have the best opportunity to kick off a charge with a home Calcutta Cup clash at Murrayfield, but for Italy the wooden spoon looks a likely certainty once again amid more questions over their position in the competition.

Can the Azzurri snap a winless streak in the Six Nations stretching back seven years?

In the UK, Six Nations television rights continue to be shared by the BBC and ITV, with every game remaining live on free-to-air television after a new four-year contract agreed last year.

Here’s how to watch every 2022 Six Nations fixture live and for free in the UK…
