How we expect Chelsea to line up against Krasnodar

akim Ziyech is expected to miss at least two weeks with a hamstring problem.

Ziyech looked in discomfort as he left the pitch after half an hour on Saturday – and was set to have a scan on Monday afternoon to fully assess the damage.

Callum Hudson-Odoi will also miss Krasnodar after pulling up with his own hamstring injury.

But Frank Lampard is optimistic that Ziyech will be back before the Christmas schedule.

He said: “I hope this is a minor injury. The feeling he had since the game is that he didn’t feel too bad.

“I am not worried too much he is a fit lad we can manage it in training. We have to find a balance for him missing pre-season.”

Chelsea have already secured qualification to the knockout stages of the Champions League as group winners, giving Lampard the chance to rotate his squad.

Kepa Arrizabalaga and Billy Gilmour are both guaranteed starters, with Antonio Rudiger, Cesar Azpilicueta, Jorginho and Tammy Abraham all expected to be involved as well.

Lampard added: “I certainly hope there are no injuries and some minutes for people that are not playing as much in the squad, to show they deserve they play more.

“It is not something you can switch on and off, the idea you want to win.”

Predicted XI: (4-3-3) Kepa; Azpilicueta, Rudiger, Christensen, Emerson; Kovacic, Jorginho, Gilmour; Havertz, Abraham, Werner
