How we expect Crystal Palace to line up against Liverpool

The English shot-stopper saved a penalty in the 1-1 draw against Brighton last time out, which saw the Eagles denied a vital three points late on.

Liverpool are next up at Selhurst Park, as Palace look to improve a run of one win in five Premier League games.

A handful of selection decisions are on Vieira’s agenda, the first of which involves Jordan Ayew. Ghana’s disastrous Africa Cup of Nations exit meant the forward returned to training on Friday and the manager has declared him available for selection.

Ayew starting against the Reds will mean one of Michael Olise or Eberechi Eze dropping out, with Wilfried Zaha and Cheikhou Kouyate still in Cameroon.

James Tomkins and James MacArthur miss out, leading to Vieira likely leaving Luka Milivojevic on the bench as he did at Brighton. Christian Benteke is also pushing for a start.

Predicted Crystal Palace XI: Butland; Ward, Andersen, Guehi, Mitchell; Gallagher, Hughes, Schlupp; Ayew, Edouard, Eze.
