How we expect Liverpool to line up against Leicester

Salah celebrated his brother’s wedding during the break, prompting suggestions he contracted the virus while not observing social distancing. He has since tested positive at least twice and must not self-isolate.

It is the latest blow in a seemingly continual avalanche of bad news for Jurgen Klopp, who already has Virgil van Dijk, Thiago Alcantara and Alex Oxlade-Chamberlain sidelined and saw Trent Alexander-Arnold limp out of the 1-1 draw with Manchester City before the break.

Joe Gomez broke down in training with England, while Andy Robertson has been nursing a calf injury. There are also strong doubts over Fabinho, Jordan Henderson and youngster Rhys Williams.

As such Nathaniel Phillips and Joel Matip should make up the centre-back partnership, with Curtis Jones taking up a place in midfield.

Liverpool predicted lineup (4-3-3): Alisson; Milner, Phillips, Matip, Robertson; Keita, Wijnaldum, Jones; Jota, Firmino, Mane
