How we expect Manchester United to line up against PSG tonight

The goalkeeper was forced off at half-time of United’s 3-2 win at Southampton after colliding with the post when failing to save James Ward-Prowse’s free-kick.

Issuing an update on Tuesday, Ole Gunnar Solskjaer said “everyone’s held their hand up and is available for selection”, with De Gea among them. It remains to be seen if Solskjaer will throw him straight back in, though.

Anthony Martial, Paul Pogba and Scott McTominay are all available after missing Sunday’s trip to St Mary’s, while Luke Shaw could make his return from a hamstring complaint.

United only need a point from their remaining two Group H matches to secure progress to the knockout phase, but Solskjaer wants more.

“The quicker you can qualify the better, of course,” he said. “With a win, we’ll win the group so that’s our intent.

“We want to go out there in our style, attacking intent, defending well against a top team with some top individual players, of course.

“But our mindset is win this game and we’ve won the group.”

Predicted Manchester United XI (3-5-2): De Gea; Tuanzebe, Maguire, Lindelof; Wan-Bissaka, Fred, Matic, Bruno Fernandes, Telles; Rashford, Cavani
