How we expected West Ham to lineup against Manchester United

The club’s all-time leading Premier League scorer was sent off against Southampton last weekend and David Moyes does not possess specialist, senior centre forward cover in his squad.

Jarrod Bowen may therefore be deployed as the forward-most attacker, with Manuel Lanzini a contender to take his place in a creative triumvirate behind.

Moyes may be tempted to return to a back-five with which he has previously had success at the club for a visit of his former side.

West Ham predicted XI (4-2-3-1): Fabianski; Coufal, Zouma, Ogbonna, Cresswell; Rice, Soucek; Benrahma, Lanzini, Fornals; Bowen
