How West Ham line up against Chelsea today

The Hammers bring in an extra defender in Issa Diop and Argentine attacker Manuel Lanzini for this afternoon’s high-profile clash at the London Stadium, with a move to a back three.

Pablo Fornals and Said Benrahma drop to the bench, while Ben Johnson continues to deputise for the injured Aaron Cresswell, who doesn’t make the match day squad despite returning to light training on Friday.

West Ham are without influential defender Angelo Ogbonna, who could miss the remainder of the season after surgery on anterior cruciate ligament damage suffered against Liverpool last month.

20-year-old defender Harrison Ashby gets a spot on the bench today.

West Ham XI: Fabianski, Zouma, Dawson, Diop, Coufal, Soucek, Rice, Johnson, Bowen, Lanzini, Antonio

Subs: Yarmolenko, Fornals, Vlasic, Areola, Noble, Benrahma, Masuaku, Kral, Ashby
