Tuchel said to Sky Sports after the game: “He felt something, he didn’t want to risk a muscle injury, so there’s hope for Sunday.”
Mateo Kovacic, himself only recently back from injury after being out since April 10, replaced him.

Kante was earlier on Tuesday named in France’s squad for the upcoming Euro 2020. Les Blues looking to add the trophy to their World Cup won three years ago.
