Jake Paul has backed older brother Logan to stun the sporting world and beat Floyd Mayweather tonight.
Paul will take on Mayweather over eight rounds in Miami in an exhibition fight which will not produce a winner – unless there is a knockout.
Mayweather is heavily favoured to do just that – but Paul believes his sizeable height and weight advantage will earn him the same result, despite the huge disparity in boxing experience.
Mayweather won all 50 of his professional fights including against Canelo Alvarez and Manny Pacquiao, while Paul has fought just once as a ‘professional’, losing to social media rival KSI in 2019.
But his brother Jake, who has established a record of 3-0 in the paid ranks, has backed his sibling to upset the odds.
“Time for you to break the simulation tonight Logan Paul,” he tweeted. “I’m beyond proud of you. It’s your turn to show the world how the f*** we do things. Go get this W then we going crazy.”
Paul has frequently referred to “breaking the simulation” and did so again after weighing in 35lb heavier than Mayweather last night.
“He’s not ready, he doesn’t know what to expect,” he said.
“This is not the biggest fight of my life, this is the biggest fight of his life. He’s got a lot on the line and he’s got everything to lose.
“I’m going to go in there and have fun. The fact I’m even up here proves this s*** is a simulation, none of its real.
“Tomorrow I break the simulation and beat the greatest boxer in the history of the planet.
“I’m going to get it done, it’s a fight and anything can happen. Floyd’s not ready, that’s all I can say.”

Mayweather dismissed the YouTuber’s boast, however, saying: “I’ve been here before so I know what it takes. I’ve fought every different style you can possibly fight
“Height doesn’t win fights, weight doesn’t win fights, fighting wins fights at the end of the day and I can fight. I’ve been at the top for 25 years and I know what it takes when it’s a fight of this magnitude.”
Paul also shared an emotional exchange with his father Greg after last night’s weigh-in with both men close to tears.
“Save the tears for tomorrow night. We are going to be celebrating victory. I’m going to get it done, I’m going to get it done,” said the fighter.
His dad replied: “I’m teary eyed I’m so happy. You are doing s**t that people aren’t doing and it’s savage. It’s your f***ing fight game. You don’t quit.
“Because of that you have already won a million times. But dude when you win this fight I’ll ball my eyes out.”
