Jake Paul urged not to fight UFC star due to terrifying amateur boxing footage
Boxing fans insist Jake Paul should forget about fighting Alex Pereira.
‘The Problem Child’ called out the UFC light-heavyweight champion following his sixth-round stoppage victory over Mike Perry in July.
Paul is set to face Mike Tyson on November 15 but after that, he wants to square off with Pereira.
“Alex Pereira you said you want to box, I’m the king of this,” said Paul.
“Come over, we can make this happen. I just beat a BKFC champion, I’ve beaten multiple UFC champions and he says he wants to box.
“So Alex Pereira, after Mike Tyson, let’s make it happen.”
Unlike Paul’s previous ex-UFC foes, Pereira isn’t a novice boxer.
The Brazilian MMA star is said to have competed 28 times in amateur boxing (25-3) with all 25 of his wins coming by way of knockout.
Terrifying footage recently emerged online of ‘Poatana’ flatlining opponents in the unpaid ranks, including one clip of him knocking an adversary out of the ring.
Underneath the video, fans flooded to the comment section to urge Paul to steer clear of Pereira.
One supporter wrote: “Jake Paul doesn’t want any of that smoke. He stands no chance.”
Another tweeted: “Now @JakePaul is regretting calling him out.”

Meanwhile, a third added: “He KOs Jake Paul in two.”
The fight is extremely unlikely to take place anytime soon as UFC president Dana White has already insisted he will not sanction the bout while Pereira is under contract with him.
White has a long-running feud with Paul and told TNT Sports in June: “Let me tell you about Jake Paul [vs Pereira].
“The media eats all his b****** and they actually print it – it’s the weirdest thing ever…
“I didn’t even know Jake Paul was fighting. I was on vacation in Italy and I had no idea. There were all these stories written it’s ridiculous.
“I stopped paying attention to Jake Paul when he lost to [Tommy] Fury.
“When he fought someone that was his age and actually boxed, he lost.”
