Joe Rogan blown away by UFC 306 Sphere show complete with Dana White hologram

Joe Rogan was almost speechless at the very start of UFC 306.

The other UFC commentators – Jon Anik and Daniel Cormier – had already seen the Las Vegas Sphere in action ahead of the first sporting event at the £2billion venue.

However, Rogan jetted in late for UFC 306 – otherwise known as Noche UFC – and was caught off guard by the spectacular visuals inside the futuristic venue.

The UFC Octagon was surrounded by a towering interior LED screen, which wraps around most of the audience, and allowed each fight to take place in a different ‘world’.

Just before things go going, the lights dimmed and the screen showed metal gates making way for a massive Noche UFC sign, which was surrounded by fog.

“Woah,” Rogan said after seeing the Sphere in full effect.

Anik interjected: “Yeah, how’s that?”

Rogan chuckled before going back to quietly enjoying the spectacle that cost UFC CEO Dana White over £15million and made his latest show the most expensive in company history.

The popular podcaster continued to marvel at the state-of-the-art technology as and when it was utilised during the ‘unbelievable’ 10-fight card.

“I feel like every UFC should be here,” Rogan added.

“I am just blown away by the visuals”

Cormier worried about going back to watching UFC fights at ‘normal’ arenas.

UFC fans lucky enough to have a ticket just enjoyed the show, which started with them being met by a hologram of White as they walked to their seats.

It spoke both English and Spanish and was impressively life-like. So much so that footage of White’s hologram quickly went viral on social media.

Ultimately, the MMA mogul hopes all his efforts on UFC 306 will be rewarded with three of the biggest awards in entertainment.

“You know me, I love to break records,” White said after filming the latest Contender Series episode on Tuesday evening.

“This is going to be the biggest gate we’ve ever done in the history of the company, and the most pre-buys on PPV ever too.

“People have been buying the event the week before the week before the event.

“My goal with this thing is to be nominated for an Oscar, an Emmy, and a Grammy.
