Leicester vs Man United: Premier League – LIVE!

Manchester United visit the East Midlands on a high after once again reaching the semi-finals of the Carabao Cup in midweek, while Ole Gunnar Solskjaer’s side also thrashed Leeds 6-2 in the first top-flight meeting between the two fierce rivals for 16 years.

The Red Devils – now up to third in the table and just five points behind leaders Liverpool with a game in hand – are away-day specialists and have won a staggering 14 matches in a row on the road across all competitions, though are likely to face a stern test against Leicester this afternoon.

Brendan Rodgers’ men – boosted by the fitness of Jamie Vardy – currently sit a point ahead of United in second after bouncing back from defeat to Everton with a deserved win at Tottenham last weekend.

However, four of their five league losses so far this season have come at home – a record the visitors will be only too happy to exploit if given the chance.

With kick-off scheduled for 12.30pm GMT, follow all the build-up and live match action with Standard Sport’s blog below.

Leicester vs Man United head to head history and results

Standard Sport prediction: Leicester 1-1 Man United

The Foxes fully deserved their win over Tottenham last time out, playing Spurs at their own game, but will be wary of United’s impressive away form.

Jamie Vardy’s fitness will be key but I can see the points being shared.
