Liverpool look set to welcome more new signings this summer as well as saying goodbye to some players.
The Reds have already triggered Ibrahima Konate’s £36million buy-out clause as Jurgen Klopp seeks a long-term partner for Virgil van Dijk.
And Liverpool’s midfield will have a different look next season with Gini Wijnaldum departing.
But there are bound to be more arrivals and possibly some more exits as the Reds bid to bounce back after losing their Premier League crown.
Here, Mirror Sport looks at the latest transfer news and rumours from around Anfield.
Liverpool ‘make £25.8m bid’ for Wijnaldum replacement
Liverpool have made a £25.8m bid for Roma midfielder Lorenzo Pellegrini, according to reports from Italy.
Klopp’s side have long been linked with a move for the Italy international, who has been identified as a potential replacement for Wijnaldum.
Pellegrini fired 11 goals and notched nine assists in all competitions for Roma last season, and could boost Liverpool’s attacking creativity from midfield.
The 24-year-old is out of contract with Roma next summer and is yet to agree a new deal with Jose Mourinho’s side.
And the Reds have lodged a bid, according to Italian publication Corriere dello Sport, cited by Anfield Central.
Harry Wilson talks could aid Raphinha bid
Liverpool could have an advantage in the race to sign Raphinha as Leeds are reportedly in talks over signing Harry Wilson.
But Klopp’s side could have the edge after Mercado Ingles reported that Leeds were in talks over a move for Wilson, who has returned to Liverpool after a season on loan at Cardiff.
However, it is thought that Marcelo Bielsa’s side are keen to keep 24-year-old Raphinha, who scored six goals and laid on nine assists last season.
Reds told to make shock swoop for United man
Liverpool have been urged to rescue Donny van de Beek from his Manchester United struggles.
Ole Gunnar Solskjaer’s side signed Van de Beek from Ajax for £35m last summer, but the Dutch midfielder made just four Premier League starts in his first campaign.
The 24-year-old faces fierce competition for a place in United’s midfield – but Ajax legend Sjaak Swark believes he would fit in perfectly at Liverpool.

“He played really great at Ajax, until he left. He was ready for abroad. But at United they have eight or nine midfielders, and you have to intervene, then that takes time,” Swark told Veronica Inside, as reported by SoccerNews NL.
“He would fit right in with other clubs. If I look at Liverpool and Wijnaldum is leaving now, he will be a wonderful replacement. Or Thomas Müller, at Bayern Munich.”
No player has moved directly between the two clubs since Phil Chisnall left United for Liverpool in 1964.
