The Everton winger says Klopp has been “constantly banging on and banging on” about the implementation of the rule, which will be introduced for the 2022/23 Premier League season. But instead, the Senegal international opted to spend the year at Liverpool, where he won the League Cup and FA Cup while finishing second in the Premier League and Champions League as well.

And while he might have wanted one of those numbers in Germany, it appears Bayern only had a limited amount of numbers available.
