Jurgen Klopp is facing a dilemma as Liverpool face Manchester City on Sunday afternoon: whether to start Roberto Firmino or Diogo Jota.
Firmino has scarcely been out of the starting XI since Klopp took over in the Anfield hot seat five years ago.
But Jota’s form is hard to ignore and the £41million summer signing has netted seven times in his last four games, including a hat-trick against Atalanta on Tuesday.
Of course, Klopp could turn to a 4-2-3-1 shape to try and accommodate both forwards, but it would be a bold move to deviate from the regular 4-3-3 for the trip to Pep Guardiola’s side.
Liverpool’s opposition have struggled for consistency this season and will be without Sergio Aguero, but City’s attacking personnel have the ability to carve open any side.
Raheem Sterling, Gabriel Jesus and Kevin De Bruyne are among the stars expected to start the match, while at the other end of the pitch the Sky Blues are aiming to extend their impressive defensive form.

Guardiola’s men have conceded just two goals in their last six games across all competitions and summer signing Ruben Dias has impressed in central defence alongside Aymeric Laporte.
Meanwhile, Joel Matip has returned to full fitness and may return at centre-back for the Reds, where he will likely partner Joe Gomez.
But the visitors will be without Thiago, who is continuing his recovery from an injury sustained in the Merseyside derby.
As such, James Milner may be handed a rare start in the league and could be up against Rodri and Phil Foden in the midfield battle.
Here is how Mirror Football expects the teams to line up at the Etihad Stadium:
Predicted Man City XI: Ederson; Walker, Dias, Laporte, Cancelo; De Bruyne, Rodri, Foden; Bernardo, Jesus, Sterling.
Predicted Liverpool XI: Alisson; Alexander-Arnold, Gomez, Matip, Robertson; Milner, Henderson, Wijnaldum; Salah, Firmino, Mane.
