Man Utd fans block Carrington training ground entrances in Glazers protest

Manchester United fans have blocked the entrance to the Carrington training ground in protest against the Glazer family’s ownership of the club.

Fans pitched up on Thursday morning with a banner reading: “We decide when you play”.

The Glazer Family is hugely unpopular among the United fanbase, not least due to the European Super League fiasco.

There have been numerous calls for the American billionaires to sell the club, and Gary Neville earlier this week claimed they should be “booted out” of the game.

Protests were reportedly planned for this Saturday’s game against Newcastle, with fans looking to capitalise on the momentum from successful protests against the Super League
