Man Utd vs Man City kick-off time, TV and live stream details

This weekend’s Manchester derby will have a very different atmosphere to the last time Man City made the short trip to Old Trafford.

Back in March, a first-half goal from Anthony Martial and a long-range strike in injury time from Scott McTominay secured a 2-0 win for the Red Devils in front of an ecstatic home crowd.

That remains the last time Man Utd fans were allowed in to their beloved Old Trafford; the recent confirmation that Manchester remains in Tier 3 means that Saturday’s match will be behind closed doors.

Utd will be looking to put the disappointment of missing out on a place in the Champions League last 16. City have had the luxury of resting key players in midweek after securing their place in the knockout stages with a game to spare, allowing Pep Guardiola to dip into his squad for Marseille’s visit on Wednesday.

United are sixth in the Premier League table, City seventh. Just one point separates the city rivals, while United are playing at home, City away (no fans though. Manchester is squarely in Tier 3).

But such is the nature of this strange old Premier League season that City are odds on favourites to win on Saturday night, United big outsiders.

Bookies thepools.com make City 3/4 to win, with United 16/5. The draw is 3/1.

The rivals rarely draw, though. City have won on three of their last four visits to Old Trafford. But three of the last four clashes between the sides have gone United’s way – a 2-0 win in March at Old Trafford, a second leg League Cup semi-final win at the Etihad and another Etihad victory in the Premier League last December.
